Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Noor ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Noor is a mobile application designed to provide a peaceful Quran reading experience, featuring daily verses, translations, personal journaling, and spiritual reflection tools. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
Use the App to distribute malware or harmful content

Quranic Content

The Quranic text and translations provided in the App are sourced from respected scholarly works. While we strive for accuracy, the App is intended as a companion tool and should not replace study with qualified scholars. We encourage users to verify important matters with knowledgeable teachers.

User Content

Any personal reflections, journal entries, bookmarks, or notes you create ("User Content") remain your property. This content is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for your User Content and any consequences of creating or storing it.

Premium Features & Subscriptions

Noor may offer premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions. By purchasing a subscription:

Payment will be charged to your Google Play or Apple App Store account
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings
No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods

The free version of Noor displays advertisements. These ads are served by third-party providers and are configured to show only family-safe content. We do not control the specific ads shown and are not responsible for advertiser content.

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding User Content and Quranic text), features, and functionality are owned by Noor and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Noor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or by updating this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
